Artist's Description
The ceremony, presented by the Nez Perce Nation of four horses, one riderless, at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site , pays tribute to tribal ideals, honors tribal ancestors and helps to heal old wounds. The Empty Saddle celebrates the memory of the young son of Little Bear

The soft glow effect is an effort on my part as a photographer to achieve a cinematic respect to this annual Memorial.
