Snow on the Tehachapis metal print by Rich Collins. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The tehachapi range is generally considered by many to be the line of demarcation for Northern and Southern California. A short range of about 40 miles and only 8000' at it's highest point also divides the San Joaquin Valley from the Mojave Desert. At its SW end begins the Grapevine, the steep road to Southern California via I-5. This view is from the San Joaquin Vallet looking East.
About Rich Collins
Since I was a very young boy on the farm, 6 or 7, I have been shooting everything in my line of sight. In those early days I found that anything could inspire me. Grasshoppers and Gartner snakes to coyotes and eagles, as well a rows of crops we grew. Eventually I was given a Kodak Brownie, just to prevent me from using my Mother's KodakBrownie out in the fields. I was thrilled. Since then I have gone through many styles of shooting and editing.
